Bluetooth handles control and live status readings between the phone and camera. Binding links a camera to your account for device details, warranty and support information.
Which features need an internet connection?
Account sign-in, cloud device-data sync, tickets and firmware downloads need a network connection. Remote camera control uses the Bluetooth connection between your phone and camera.
How do I recover my device information on a new phone?
Install the app and sign in to the same account to view your bound devices. Connect to the camera over Bluetooth again when you want to use remote control.
Can I use the app without a camera?
